Founders of Killeen Creators receive Star Award

Kristin Wright-McWilliams and James McWilliams, founders of Killeen Creators, were presented with the Killeen Star Award by Mayor Debbie Nash-King and the Killeen City Council on Tuesday afternoon at City Hall, 101 N. College St.

The award is given out occasionally by the city to honor volunteers and other impactful community members. Speaking about the award, Nash-King said, "Volunteerism is the backbone to any city."
