Become a Sustaining Member

Killeen Creators is a community development charitable organization with a mission to combat food deserts, PTSD, and disenfranchisement while building individual and community capacity through our Community Garden, Civic Empowerment, Literacy, and ART of Recovery initiatives. 

Through the generosity of our Sustaining Members and volunteers, we have THREE Community Gardens established and producing locally grown goodies - and 2 more are being planted for Fall 2022! Each garden also has it's own Little Lending Library AND numerous community art installations created at our weekly Garden Work Days.

We have suggested the following Sustaining Member Levels but feel free to select whatever fits your budget! And while we super appreciate anyone who can give a recurring monthly basis (helps spread out our income!) we understand some prefer paying a sustaining membership with 1 annual contribution.

SEEDS = $5/month or $60/year

SEEDLINGS = $10/month or $120/year

FRUITS = $25/month or $300/year

FRUIT TREES = $50/month or $600/year

GARDENERS = $75/month or $900/year

PRODUCERS = $100/month or $1,200/year

Whether you can donate $5 or $75 a month, your contribution is essential for keeping Killeen Creators' going and growing! 

Our first priority has been to get Community Gardens established and produce and distribute locally grown fruits and vegetables throughout North Killeen, and with your help, we can grow MORE gardens, inform MORE people about upcoming elections and civic engagement opportunities, AND launch our support groups for people with PTSD, utilizing peer support, therapeutic art, and gardening.

We are a volunteer-run 501(c)3 organization, meaning all donations go to direct service and are tax-deductible!
